Understanding the Nonlinear Nature of Recovery


When it comes to recovery, it’s important to remember that progress rarely occurs in a straight line. Whether recovering from an injury or working to improve movement and mobility, there will inevitably be ups and downs along the way. However, this pattern of recovery can still be incredibly effective, and the key is to focus on the overall trend—aiming for gradual improvement rather than perfection.


Understanding the Ups and Downs


In the process of healing or improving physical function, it’s normal to experience setbacks or plateaus. One day you might feel like you're making great strides, only to experience increased pain or stiffness the next. While this can be frustrating, it’s important to understand that these fluctuations are a natural part of recovery.
